Employment and Industrial Relations

In the Employment and Industrial Relations Focus Group, our professionals deal with workplace issues and industrial and trade union relations, provide specialist advice and support to national and international companies in connection with staff management and administration and payroll issues, with particular regard to the rules concerning employment relationships, social security and tax rules, industrial relations, the management of staff redundancy procedures or use of state-funded income support programs for the unemployed, welfare and productivity plans, international mobility, contributing specialist skills to their respective area of economic, legal and tax expertise.

The goal is to provide as comprehensive a service as possible in complex cases involving cross-disciplinary issues, which require a combination of sound technical and legal knowledge and negotiation and mediation skills, to protect on the one hand financial and production goals and on the other hand the reputation of companies, the soundness of governance and the management and enhancement of companies’ human capital.
